This side object is part of the series “Form before function”, a personal statement and approach on the creative process, with the process focused on the form and the final composition, while the function coming second and being sugested by the form. It is compounded by two blocky volumes at the bottom, made out of acacia and ash wood that serve as a base for the glass on top. All the wood elements are made from raw planks of wood, while the glass is made by a local company specialized in working and securing glass. The object has a scultural aesthetic and it qualifies as a nice side table or side object. It is available in a series of 5 pieces and it’s currently at 2nd one.
